We truly enjoyed our stay at 122 Dalton. The house was perfect for our family and a great location to visit all our family and friends in the area. It was also the perfect location for us to enjoy fishing, camping, canoeing, and hiking. We will definitely be staying with them in the future.

Mike and I come down to Cotter, to greet spring a month before it normally reaches us in Wisconsin. We love staying at Jan's cottage on Dalton St. -- it is a cozy little house that has everything we need to be comfortable. Jan and Marydell always take care to make us feel at home and accommodate any of our special requests.

Mike especially likes being close to the White River for fly fishing and I enjoy walking the trail along the river to see the dogwood and redbud in bloom. One thing I always look forward to is seeing the Rainbow Bridge all lit up at night. We have taken many scenic trips around the area. It's a lovely place to vacation.

"I've fished all my life in Louisiana and it doesn't come close to fishing for Rainbow Trout on the White River in Cotter. And Jan's Ozark Getaway really adds that 'something special' to the entire experience. I've been several years in a row and look forward every year to getting back in and on the river, especially at Jan's "home away from home." The beauty of nature, the refreshing breeze gliding over the cool water, the clearness of the river (you can see the fish hit your bait), the sizzle of freshly caught and cooked trout, and the serenity of doing nothing or anything make this a "Thoreau" like experience."
