Jan's Ozark Getaway offers comfortable lodging for two to six people. Better than a bed and breakfast, this private house makes a great home base for anyone visiting North Central Arkansas.

Centrally located in downtown Cotter, you're 1/3 of a mile from world-class fishing, and 25 minutes from either Norfork and Bull Shoals Lake. Cotter and surrounding towns offer historical sites, antiques and crafts. Deer and turkey hunters will enjoy this convenient location, too.

Jan's Ozark Getaway is available on a daily and weekly basis. We also have monthly rates to suit temporary housing needs.

You will appreciate that Mountain Home, the Baxter County seat, is just a 12 minute drive. More shopping, dining,  and medical care are found there. 

This adorable house is located in historical downtown
Cotter, Arkansas. It is 1/3 mile from the Cotter Public Access,
Big Spring Park and historical Ruthven Bridge.

 
Recently refurbished, this 1930's home has fresh wood floors in the living room, cozy carpeted bedrooms, a modern kitchen and a full bath. 

You'll find a basement with an additional bathroom and an unfinished room you can use for storing your gear.

 

  
The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, flatware and cooking utensils. Appliances include refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee pot, and toaster. There is a washer and dryer for your use in the mud room.

Bed and bath linens are provided.

 

We offer approx 1200 sq. ft of living space. The two private bedrooms have queen size beds and there is a sleeper sofa in the living room.

The house sits on a generous city lot in a quiet neighborhood. There is plenty of yard for outdoor activities such as a family picnic along with your boat and vehicle parking.

This is a non-smoking facility. Ashtrays and lawn furniture are provided under the covered porch. No pets, please.
